The Congress Secretariat will be in operation in CENTRO DE CONVENCIONES DE LIMA. The main entrance will be via Calle El Comercio. Registration and badge pick up will be on the 2nd floor. Hours of operation will be:

NAME TAGS / BADGES
A PAAO Lima 2002017 Congress official name badge is required for all Congress activities. Duplicate badges may be requested from the Congress Secretariat at a cost of US$100 (one hundred US dollars), based on confirmation of prior registration.
Certificates will be provided to all participants of the Congress. Certificates will be available through an online system and may be obtained from www.paaolima2017.com beginning 20 business days after the congress.
COAT / LUGGAGE CHECK
A Coat / Luggage Check area will be available to congress participants during the official congress dates and times. The Coat / Luggage check will be located in the Centro de Convenciones de Lima (exact location to be announced). Checked items must be retrieved by 18:30 (6:30 pm). Neither the Congress nor the secretariat is responsible for lost or stolen items.

General Information about Perú
For your security, do not take taxis on the streets, particularly at night. Please request taxi service from your hotel, by telephone or through various apps used in Peru. Most taxis requested in these manners accept cash and credit cards. Limited shuttle service will be available from select hotels to the convention center. LOCATION & WEATHER
Lima is located on mostly flat terrain but slopes gently from the shores of the Pacific Ocean into valleys and mountains as high as 1,550 meters (5,090 ft) above sea level.
Lima’s climate is mild to warm. Winter in Peru is from June through August. Winter temperatures vary little between day and night. They range from lows of 57° F (14° C) to 61° F (16° C) and highs of 61° F (16° C) to 66° F (19° C), rarely exceeding 68° F (20° C) except in the easternmost districts.
Peru´s official currency is the Nuevo Sol (S/.). Currency exchange can be done in exchange offices, airports, hotels and banks. Never exchange currency on the street. The exchange rate is fairly stable and the official reference is the US dollar.

If you are coming from the US the voltage is higher in Perú. Most USB wall adapters are fine up to 220V but please check your device to avoid damage and fire.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS
Visa requirements may differ according to the country of origin. Peru does not require visa for most countries, however we advise delegates to check their individual needs in advance.

Delegates are encouraged to purchase travel insurance before leaving their home country. Insurance plans typically cover accidental loss of belongings, medical costs and other risks of international traveling.
