Northern Region

Cities north of Lima, lapped by the waters of the Pacific Ocean. These cities stand out for their pre-Inca constructions made with adobe (mud mass mixed with straw, molded into bricks and sun-dried) which even today still stand. And also for its delicious regional cuisine.

In Chiclayo are the remains of the Lord of Sipan, Tucume, Sican, Museum of the Royal Tombs, etc. And their flag dishes are rice with duck and northern Ceviche.
